Etching, woodcuts, artist’s books, oil painting and assemblage

Graduate of the L’École des beaux-arts (communication graphique, pédagogie de l’art), I continued etching with Yves Gaucher and Albert Dumouchel. I completed my studies in Philosophy/Art Education at Concordia University with Master’s and Doctoral degrees. Winner of the first prizes BIAM 2012 and Télé-Québec BIECTR 2013 and the Alain Piroir Prize, I had an exhibition at the Maison de la Culture Mercier in 2015.

My engraving practice is characterized by figures embedded in traditional etching techniques and wood engraving as well as in the design and creation of artist’s books. My theme is play and my subjects include children, birds, landscapes and animals. Since the lock-down in 2020, I have been exploring painting with oils and now, for the “Boulevard des Arts” event, in addition to a sample of my etching and books, some twenty new canvases will be exhibited.
