Sculpture, painting and mixed media

Nature, the creative process and the power of imagination are part of my artistic path. I recycle objects of wood, metal and paper, then link them together with bands of plastered cotton. I like to observe where life comes from… Does it come from the shadow… the light… or the complicity of both? Aware of the tribulations of humans in the world at the moment, I reflect, I think, I ruminate… using plaster with the noble intention of transcending human suffering… Trees and birds are my favourite subjects. They come to life with the help of mixed techniques: graphite, ink, watercolours, plaster and collage, in 2D and 3D. Allow the line, colour and form to attach to the surface. Pass from the conscious to the unconscious and vice-versa, just as we pass from the clear to the obscure… My need is very simple: to create while being guided by the materials and colour. It is a celebration, a homage that I pay to the beauty of Life!
