Mosaics

A mosaic is an assembly of parts, referred to as tessera, cut from marble, glass, slate or any material you like for its colour and texture, its symbolical force. Mosaic is the art of cutting and assembling.

With mosaics, I express myself through the balance and harmony of the fragmentation of the material. Material which can be the source of inspiration by what it suggests. I like mosaic because it is an ancient language, the starting point of a series of actions referring to different techniques.

I studied architecture and plastic arts. In 2015 and 2016, I was involved in training positions on mosaics in workshops in Morocco, France, Catalogne, Tunisia and Senegal. I opened my workshop in Dunham in the spring of 2017.

By turns, I have been a puppeteer-screen writer – television producer – independent cultural officer specializing in music from around the world.
