The theme of my work is: Beauty, Fragility, Survival. I am a printmaker, painter, and multidisciplinary artist. My botanical prints, for which I am better known, are created using wild plants as the matrices (my technique developed in 1993) for my printing plates. The studio 

(bernicesorge.ca) has a printing press that I share with other printmakers, give workshops in the various techniques of my discipline such as woodcut, collagraph, silkscreen and etching. My original prints are shown in different cities around the world such as: NYC, Vancouver, Toronto, Montréal, Hiroshima, Strasbourg & Paris, France, Damascus and Aleppo, Syria.
