Drawing, painting and assemblage

A longtime dancer/performer, teacher and visual artist, my work is inspired by the presences, experiences and relationships with what I call ‘the everyday’. The essence of this work is based on improvisation and an immediacy that results in a variety of abstract, expressionistic and non-figurative forms. I work with oils, inks, acrylics, paper, canvas and/or found objects, making use of a wide range of materials and subjects in the creation of the drawings, paintings, installations and assemblages that have continued to emerge from and inspire this on-going body of work.
