Stoneware and raku ceramics

Sara Mills and Michel Louis Viala: two ceramists settled in Pigeon Hill since 1977. Integrating ceramic art in the garden is central to our approach and the one-of-a-kind outdoor sculptures. Important to our work are the personal artistic practices of firing our work in soda and Raku kilns, the flame giving lively and surprising results creating unusual unique pieces. In our boutique is our collection of handmade day-to-day objects that we create together in high temperature stoneware.

Paulette Vanier will present her hand-woven baskets and an on-site willow architectural structure in the garden and the gallery.
