Metal work: decorative and functional

A graduate in civil engineering from the Université de Sherbrooke, my career was built in industrial construction. In 1994, I began creating fashion jewelry made of pewter. In 2003, I took courses at the École de Joaillerie de Montréal, refining my craft.
In 2006, I turned to steel, cutting and welding metal to create garden décor pieces. This led me to learn the art of patinas, particularly rust tones. Metal remains my preferred medium, where my creativity fully unfolds.
Today, I mainly design sculptures, though I also continue to create chairs, tables, railings, and other functional and artistic objects of great variety. I now finish my metal pieces using pastes that allow for a wide range of colors. For durability, many of my works are kiln-enameled. I enjoy collaborating with other artists in stained glass, ceramics, and woodworking to create expanded works.
