Printmaking, cyanotype and textile arts
I work at the intersection of printmaking, cyanotype, and textile art. My work has been exhibited in Canada and internationally since 2000, and my prints are held in private and public collections across four continents.
I share my passion for art through teaching and cultural mediation. Originally from New Brunswick and a graduate of the Alberta College of Art & Design, I have lived in Quebec since 2002.
My work is inspired by both science and poetry. I favor printmaking for its historical role as a communication tool, textile art for its evocation of memory through thread, and cyanotype for its connection to nature. The hands-on nature of these techniques allows me to engage deeply with the concept of time. Through my work, I aim to demonstrate respect for materials, and in my studio, respect for the environment.
