Painting

My work is an intuitive representation of my interpretation, my memories, the way I see the world. I prefer streaks, lines, colours and forms which reveal an idea, an inner dialogue between the spectator and my painting. I seek equilibrium, enchantment. Painting allows me to enter an inner world, to express myself and tell my story. I improvise from one canvas to the next. Sometimes, there is a connection between my paintings, other times my search brings me pleasant surprises that I seek to carry further. I let myself go and dream with forms and colours on the canvas which provide me with inspiration to continue my search through creating my work. I find equilibrium and balance when I look at the canvas and feel at peace with it.
