Mixed media: painting, sculpture, fiber arts

Material lies at the heart of my artistic research. I enjoy creating my own materials and inventing techniques that respond to my artistic needs and intentions. I work with paper as if it were a textile (made from plant fibers or pulp), transforming it through spinning, weaving, sewing, and more. Paper also allows me to create sculptures, using silicone molds or other methods to give it volume.
Nature remains a central theme in my work. I observe its elements and borrow its structures for my organic creations. I am also inspired by natural materials altered over time—showing wear, patina, and decay. Recently, I have returned to painting and sculpture, exploring portraits and figures through their psychological depth and inner worlds.
